I joined in 2001 as senior draughtsman. In a short period, I have moved up to the level of principal designer. The company had confidence in me and gave me opportunities to handle different roles which I have been able to execute effectively.
2. How did your skills develop over the period?
I have been continuously trained on various software and technical skills and I have been able to utilise these effectively in my projects and thereby demonstrate upgrading of my skills.
3. What projects have you been involved with?
I’ve worked on projects including a boiler project in the US, major chemical complexes in China, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, and on a refinery project in the Middle East. I got global exposure travelling to the US, UK and Singapore to execute projects and more importantly worked in multi-cultural environments.
