Foster Wheeler has permanent offices in 26 countries - some of these are Global Power Group offices, some are Global E&C Group offices, and some serve both business groups.
In India, we are located in Chennai with an office space of 110,000 Sq. ft. and state of the art technology. Chennai has an average experience of about 10 years and over 50% of our workforce has worked on international projects.
Our Kolkata facility has an office space of 55,000 Sq. ft. and has grown significantly to 400 employees in less than 18 months.
The recently opened Gurgaon facility has an office space of about 32,000 Sq. ft.
In the Global E&C Group, we also have engineering centres in Reading, Teesside, Warrington and Glasgow in the UK, in Houston, Philadelphia, Calgary and Santiago in Chile in the Americas, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Basel, Istanbul and Moscow in Europe, Johannesburg in Africa, and Sriracha in Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai in Asia.
But we have people in many, many more places. In 2007 alone, our Global E&C Group won business in 48 countries, so we have teams around the world in project offices, clients' offices, other contractors' offices and at site. The opportunities are endless!
